Read Human Genetics by Ricki Lewis Online

Today, human genetics is for everyone It is about variation than about illnesses, and increasingly about the common rather than about the rare Once an obscure science or an occasional explanation for an odd collection of symptoms, human genetics is now part of everyday conversation By coming to know genetic backgrounds, people can control their environments in healthy ways Genetic knowledge is, therefore, both informative and empowering The 10th edition of Human Genetics Concepts and Applications shows students how and why that is true.Users who purchase Connect receive access to the full online eBook version of the textbook....

This was a class requirement. Very informative on how genetics can affect ones development during the fetal stages and throughout ones life.

Great textbook! It does a good job at simplifying complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand. Only draw back is that it is soo expensive...

It is very clear and easy to understand. Please I would suggest that the prints be a little bigger. Thank you.

This book was not only informative, but also incredibly interesting. Ms. Lewis did a great job of explaining genetics in a way that was easier to understand compared to other books that I have read that touched on this subject matter. I definitely recommend this book!!

It's a textbook about genetics. Unless you are highly interested in genetics, this book is quite boring. The class was a requirement for my degree program, so I endured the term. It is not a user friendly textbook. Some areas could use some revising. It is hard to find definitions in the text at times.

The book arrived on time but I just found out one chapter (chapter 12) is missing. I was so frustrated that I needed to read before doing my assignment but nothing to read from the brand new book I bought. This is my first time facing this problem. Will return the book.
