Shredding Acoustic Guitar: Heavy Metal Meets the Acoustic Guitar, Book & CD (Shredding Styles) Reviews
This book offers similar advice, guitar licks, picking techniques, and understanding as most other shred books for electric guitar. There is little difference between this book and electric shred books. Some of the techniques and licks our elementary, as in 1234 exercises with the left-hand. The book also contains major and minor scales, with modes as well. The scale patterns are 3 to 4 note per string with two octave patterns that can be found almost anywhere on the Internet. I purchased this text for my library as a university guitar professor.
Great book! I have the whole series, up to date anyway. Very informative!
Very useful really helped
Pretty decent but not exactly what I expected.
This is book is actually full of easy lessons, step by step. Easy to learn, with practice anyone can learn to Shred!
I bought this text for my students and even for myself to see if there was anything worth learning. It seemed intriguing so I bought it. Also I will tell you a little about myself, I am a guitar teacher, I graduated out from Berklee, played in many bands, solo acts, and I am a proficient classical guitarist.
