Amazing Airplanes (Amazing Machines) Reviews
Really cute story about a trip on the airplane, from checkin and baggage to flight attendants on the plane, the captain speaking, working with the traffic control tower and more. Our 2 1/2 year old loves planes and loves reading this book, especially on and after his recent plane trip, where he remembers the things he did himself.
One of my kids' favorite book - especially after our recent flight)
This book helped prepare my 20 month old for her first time on a plane. A few weeks before our trip I started reading this book every day, as well as the book, Maisy Goes on a Plane, which she loves. She ended up actually really enjoying the whole plane ride experience much to my surprise, she did amazingly well on the plane.
My daughter couldn't afford to buy my grand kids books and they love reading. I am not able to do a lot of "extra spending" either but want the children to love books like I do and have the opportunity to have some. I was so glad to find these and at such a wonderful price. I was able to get the kids each several books of their own and they were so glad to get them to! Go Nanny!!! I will be buying some more for them too!!
We picked up the soft cover version of the book a while back and have loved reading it for our toddler boy. He totally is besotted by the art in the book and the text that goes with it. The art is quirky and nice. If you enjoy this book, consider the full set hardcover from the authors. Amazon sells it here
We wanted to prepare our 2.5 yo for our summer vacation, and he loved reading this book. It described everything he was going to see on the plane so that he was ready for it when we got there. He was excited the see that the plane DID have magazines and drinks :)
My grandson who is 2 really likes this book. Likes to see the people on the plane, and gave him a more concrete concept that people ride airplanes and that someone "drives" the plane like a car. It's a hit!
A riveting story with beautiful, breathtaking full color animations. I have recommended this to many of my friends and it never fails to impress.
