Window Treatments and Slipcovers For Dummies Reviews
It gave me tolerances and dimensioning that I was missing. I knew my window size but I didn't know how much to add to the width to have a nice gather on the rod.
Happy with my purchase. Curtains, draperies and slipcovers are so pricey, I decided to try my hand at the slipcovers. Am I ever glad I did! To have my old chair cleaned it costs $189---- so, get sewing! :D Very pleased with the results. Ready to sew another!!!!
Not clear or basic
My home is 55 years and the decor and window treatments are truly showing thier age. This new arrival to my reference collection will allow me to update, modernize and generally breathe some life back into the humble abode.
With the help of this book I was able to make a pair of roman shades for my guest bedroom and I must say they turned out pretty darned good. I'm going to tackle a slip cover for my wing chair next!
Very good reference and instructions. I would give it 5 stars if there it had more pictures with the instructions.
Very simple and great for a sewer with very basic skills.
