Antlers: A Guide to Collecting, Scoring, Mounting, and Carving, 2nd Edition Reviews
not at all what i was looking for but considering what i paid
I enjoyed somewhat the sections on creating different objects such as lamps but was mainly interested in carving antlers. There was very little information there about carving and none that helped me. Disappointing.
Got this for my husband who has two different ranches and this book was very helpful in teaching us how to manage deer.
I saw this book while browsing for Legent Whitetails. My son has collected many antlers while hunting over the years. This book will give him great insight into the antlers he has found and for deer he gets in the future!
I wanted a book that would help me start working with this material. This book is good for beginners. If you want to work with antlers, get this book.
I like how this book covers just about all the basics of antlers ( where to find them, what to do with them - crafts, and other helpful information that one would like to have if they were going to collect antlers, make crafts with them, or just want to know more about them. I like the chapters on where to find them, carving them and what tools to use. The chapter on what kind of furniture could be made with antlers was helpful as well.
