Saddlery and Harness-Making Reviews
If you're interested in working leather, this is a good text to have in your reference library.
This is geared more towards the experienced maker. Not much on the Harness making. I found the small print very hard to read and it didn't have the detail or information I was expecting.
This is an older book regarding saddlery and harness making. The book I have is a compact, yet thick book containing a lot of information. However, if you're looking for a "how to" or something with visual references, this isn't the book. As a previous reviewer wrote, this work is short on visuals.
Only useful if you wanted to write a paper about the history of saddle making. But unless you have a very vivid imagination, the lack of pictures or diagrams won't help most people with what the title implies. Lots of words, but of little practical use.
