The German Shepherd Dog: A Genetic History Reviews
Great book regarding all aspects of GSD.If you are looking for a very complete history of GSD this is the book for you. The book was described accurately and arrived when expected. There were no problems at all with this seller. I gave them a 5 star because I got the book I wanted, in the condition I expected, and on time. I would not hesitate to use them again.
An invaluable classic
This is a comprehensive book on the German Shepherd Dog. It probably contains way too much information for the average GSD owner but for those wanting to really understand the breed and its origins or those running a German Shepherd Dog breeding program or kennel (hobby or commercial) this is a must read if you can find a copy.
Very difficult read, but worth the time to get into the intricate details of what GSD's are made of, literally!!!
This book is the best on the topic of genetics of the German Shepherd Dog. A must have for any breeder and a great book for any lover of the breed. Easy to read and understand. I have owned this book for a number of years and purchased other books on the topic of dog genetics but this is the book that I find myself picking up for the answers.
I photographed that dog, "Hatter" for its owner in October 1984. This is the first time I have seen how the photo was used, since I sent the image to the publisher. The entire background has been replaced. The original background was not used. It was a joy to photograph such a beautiful animal. [email protected]
