A Logbuilder's Handbook Reviews
Wish I would have bought this years ago, one of the best on the market.
If you are looking for a truly great reference book ,this is it . He is straight and to the point.
I bought this book as a gift for my father. I accidentally left it out on the table and he picked it up and starting reading it immediately. The surprise was ruined but he did like the book. I only took a brief look at it but it looked nice.
I this book.
If you're interested in building yourself an original log cabin from hewn or round logs using traditional and/or modern tools, this is the book for you! I have read and re-read this book over and over again. Covers Foundation to Roof and everything in between. B&W photos, but there are plenty of them along with drawings to help you understand the extensive text. I've only seen this book on the used market and I think it's out of print. Get it while you can. You won't be sorry! Highly recommended book.
