Sunday Evening Jazz: Hymn Arrangements in a Jazz Style for Rhythm Section and Solo Wind Instruments (Piano Edition, CD Included) Reviews
Great arrangements of well loved hymns. I am the organist / pianist for our church. Our congregation (Lutheran) loved these arrangements, even the "traditionalists"! We had a combo consisting of flute, clarinet, trumpet, bass, drums, and piano. We practiced only once together . . . and then before the "jazz service". We practiced in our homes with the CD's that came with the set. They were wonderful, and it sounded like we had been together for years!
