Field Notes Reviews
I can't say enough about Mindy Lacefield except she's a very gifted artist. I have spent a lot of time with this book, enjoying it and learning from it. I'd love to see another book, more in depth on how she creates.
I was buying this as a gift for someone, but will be returning it. While the art is sweet, especially for a young girl, I was disappointed. I should have read the reviews and not the description of the book. It is nothing like what is depicted on the cover. It is instead whimsical drawings and paintings of large-headed cartoon people.
This is a lovely and book by a wonderful artist. And she packed in with valuable information conveyed in an easy-to-understand way. I'm a fan of Mindy Lacefield.
Love to look at the art!! Very inspiring book!! LOVE IT!!
Another wonderful book of Mindy's! She is such a gift to those on this art journey! Anything Mindy offers is life changing.
Excellent small book to help inspire. Makes me want to take my art journal to the woods on my next hike.
I was planning on a book that was similar to the cover, which I love. However, the style of the book closer resembles that of "Wild Surrender: a journey into painting, poetry, and life"
I LIKE IT but perhaps too basic.....more poetic, i was looking for more info as in how she works her paintings. mi mistake
