How to Draw Realistic Portraits: with colored pencils Reviews
Gives you a great idea of what to do when you're drawing someone's face and skin. I will definitely use it.
I was not impressed with the book. I am an art teacher, and the images in the book (scans of drawings) are poor. The steps are not easy to follow along with. It jumps steps too far to follow along with. Some advice is good, however it is written in poor English. She is a very good artist, it is just not a good step by step (how to book). I bought it to show my niece some colored pencil techniques, it didn't do the job. Very disappointed.
Disappointing. Did not illustrate drawings as expected. Only good thing is the name of pencil colors for skin, etc.
This is a great book, especially if you have Prismacolor colored pencils. It tells you what colors to use for the portraits to achieve a realistic look and also shows you correct measurements and much much more.
Wonderful tips on how to make color drawings!
I like her drawings , I like to see her drawings bigger.
