La Salle: Cadillac's Companion Car Reviews
For the Cadillac or La Salle lover this book is a must. It is a real treasure trove of history and vintage photos not to be found in any other available publication. Comprehensive, is the first word that comes to mind. Every notable marque deserves such treatment. I always viewed La Salle as a bit of a second-rate Cadillac but this book changed that attitude entirely. La Salles are genuine classics in their own right and warrant the proper respect. Not an inexpensive book but well worth the price.
What a beautiful book! A must have for any lasalle owner or even a Cadillac fan. All the information that is out there about the lasalle marquee must be there in this book. A useful guide and motivator to restore your car.
Large hard cover book with lots of facts, numbers, pictures, and information about the LaSalle. Great information for anyone that owns a LaSalle.
Finally found some information and pictures of the La Salle. This book does a good job of documenting the rise and end of the line. Lots of nice glossy pictures and detailed data on sales, etc. If you are restoring one of these cars this book is a must have!
Has the most information about Cadillac Lasalles than any other I have read. I would recommend this book to any Cadillac Lasalle owner. This book is a must for restorations.
When word of this book's impending publication began making the rounds, I knew the author's reputations as LaSalle authorities of the highest esteem assured it would be the long-awaited definitive single-volume history of this enigmatic car. Having a carefully restored example of one of the last model year's production parked in my garage, lovingly brought back to show condition by my late father and myself from a disassembled, neglected, classic basket-case derelict over the course of two years, made it especially meaningful to me as a life-long LaSalle junkie. I rationalized the additional expense involved in ordering the numbered Collector Edition, which was limited to 365 copies, and eagerly anticipated its arrival.
It took me 3 years before I laid my hand on this book and I'm very happy to see that I'm the first to review this book. This LaSalle book really provides an excellent overview of the LaSalle history. Published under the auspicien of the Cadillac-LaSalle Club Museum it has 422 pages, text is sparse, but pictures are lavish. Beautiful photos from restored examples and best of all great pictures from sales brochures, company records, details of production, you name it and it's in there. There have not been a lot of publications on this marque but this one makes up for the lack of that. Which leaves me with one question: hey guys, I can't wait untill you do this on Cadillac itself! I will buy it at any cost.
