Yamaha Racing Motorcycles: All Factory and Production Road-Racing Two-Strokes from 1955 to 1993 Reviews
This is an excellent book on the history of Yamaha in GP road racing! I don't think i have ever seen such a comprehensive and detailed account of EVERY aspect and step along the way in the development of Yamaha's 2-stroke racing programs.
This is a "must have" for Yamaha roadrace enthusiasts or just roadrace enthusiasts. The book covers the development of what is probably the most successful production race engine of all time, the DS7 series that were to become TD/TR and later TZ engines. The famous tz four cylinder bikes are covered with useful information about their development. The only negative thing about the book is the really poor quality of the photographs. Some of these have appeared in other books at a higher quality of reproduction. Other than that this is a great reference book.
Excellent historical rendering both for the bikes and the people associated with this great company.
I love the book, great history of the 2 stroke Yamaha road race bikes.I would most defiantly recommend it !!!!
Excellent book for Yamaha history buffs
