Embroidery for All Seasons (Milner Craft Series) Reviews
This book contains a treasure trove of embroidery stitches and ideas, with relatively easily understood directions. This is not a book for someone with no embroidery experience, but if you know the basics, this book will advance your knowledge by leaps and bounds. Most of the designs are flowers, trees, bushes and other vegetation. The directions use DMC embroidery floss which is readily available and inexpensive. I am using thisl book as inspiration for crazy quilting blocks.
Absolutely beautiful needlework gardens and flowers! This edition combines two of Diana Lampe's books: Embroidered Garden Flowers and More Embroidered Garden Flowers. The designs and instructions are very detailed, and the book includes a stitch glossary and DMC color chart.
Very good book for laying out ideas for a season. I like the details that are shown for each season.
This is a beautiful book. The patterns are small but after doing one of the "seasons" I found them to turn out beautifully. I am no expert and one can use any colors and plants and make it your own.
A gorgious book I always wanted to have. I will start with a little project and afterwards we will see what will follow
what an amazing book, looking forward to trying out the patterns
